  13. The reason the back of the box is “white” is because it;s primed. I was going to paint the the box originally. It does not effect the box one way or the other. If you follow the steps, your fiberglass should fit perfectly. The back of it is purely cosmetic and serves no purpose other than that. No one will ever see it unless it’s uninstalled.

  20. Wear some gloves! Fiberglass is nasty. You’ll be fine for years, then *bam* allergic.

  21. Well… My project is complete, thanks to this very informative video. I did get fustrated near the end and I skipped the bondo step though. Hope it doesn’t hurt anything. Very well worth the $10 to see the entire video.

  22. What did you do to the back of the box to get it white? You sanded it but it still had a redish tint then the video cut to you cutting mdf but the back of the box was white.

  24. WOW! This video is very informative. The only down side is that sometimes the video was sped up and I don’t know if I missed any important information. Even with that said. I give it a 10 out of 10. $10 well spen for an 88 min video. Hell, I caould build a box like that for someone and get ten times what the video cost. Wish I had a fiberglass chop gun though. That was tight.

  25. Someone please tell me how to calculate the volume for custom shaped sub enclosures! I’ve just been doing boxes as a hobby but now I have people asking me to do custom REALLY weird shaped boxes and trying to tell them which sub would work best in the box volume created. If that makes sense lol. Would be great if there was a device that could figure it out somehow =(
